In room 9 we had to write a story about a duck, jandals and a key.
Here is mine
The curse of the haunted jandals
The duckmobile had bursted it's turbo boosters. The duck was upset. “Serves you right for not paying bills!”said Batman, biking past.He was on an empty road, the only civilization a cheap three star hotel. He waddled across the desert like road, not bothering to check for cars. The little bell rang as he opened the door with his green-feathered wing. “I-QUACK!er,sorry,please excuse me.I would like one room please.”He said to the old rabbit receptionist.
“ID please sir,”said the gentle old rabbit. He shoved the ID card in her little grey paw. “Wait...are you outlawed duck Joe?She said in a surprised manner. “I was never here.”he quacked to her, handing her a wad of cash. “Room 1149”she said handing him the key. “Never-QUACK-Here!”He repeated as he shuffled away through the hallway.
He had recently robbed a bank,so he was quite stressed. He decided to take a nap.He was not sleeping well though…“quack...no!Not my webbed feet!NO!NOT THE FEET!!” He awoke with a start, facing the roof.
“Wha-whaa-what?”He saw shoe shaped mud tracks sticking to the roof. They read:YOUR LITTLE DUCK FEET WILL NEVER BE SAFE AGAIN! “Yeah right, probably just some vandals.”He muttered. “MORE LIKE JANDALS!”Boomed a deep voice when he opened the door to leave. He walked down the hall to the reception. “Hey,old rabbit, your room is haunted!”He said as he opened the door. “Argh!”He cried in shock as he saw a rabbit paw lying on the ground. “Wait….are those rubber thongs?”He was freaked.Joe the duck ran out to his duckmobile, scrambling in the escape pod. “Satnav, autopilot home!” He yelled at the computer on the pod. “Sorry, I did not understand that. Here are some websites related to “Satnav autopilot home”Siri replied. He hit the gas and was off down the road.
He arrived at his house 1 hour later. He walked to his door step. “Aaaaaaaarrrrrrggggghhhhhh!”he squealed at the sight of his favourite jandals. In fright he jumped so high he went to deep space never to be seen of again!
My next step is probably to make a longer story.
